Birds and wildlife were the highlight here.
These baboons entertained us at breakfast, playing on the roof of the next-door shed and some of them coming onto the patio before hotel staff shooed them away.
We took the opportunity to visit Nechisar National Park on Lake Chamo and take a boat ride to view a variety of marsh birds as well as crocodiles and hippopotamus.
These other birds we spotted in the vicinity of the hotel/campground.

wir haben wir mit grossem Vergnuegen eure Berichte gelesen und die schoenen Bilder gesehen.
Ihr seid wirklich zu bewundern, wie ihr das bisher gemacht habt. Nur weiter so.
Bei Aethiopien kann ich etwas mit reden, ich war vor zwei Jahren dort und habe mir die touristischen highlights im Norden angesehen. Natuerlich mit Bus und Flugzeug. Aber ich weiss, wie bergig die Strassen sind und kenne die Probleme mit den Kindern. Umso mehr bewundere ich euch und wie ihr das alles schafft.
